Hey all you Seniors that are halfway to glory (if that's what you call graduation)! I've really enjoyed getting to know you this semester, and you guys are great. But anyway guys, I want you to give me some feedback on what you thought about the US Government class this semester. What did you like? What did you dislike? What can I do to make the class better in the future? Overall I think I was pretty easy on you guys this semester, but I'd love to hear what your comments and opinions. Thanks.

So basically your an amazing teacher. Your very easy to talk to! You did make this class easy but it was fun. I'm not much of a history nut. But this was a class I looked forward to. Because I Learn best through discussion. We definitly did that! even if it was a random fact of the day! or about the lockness monster! Either way this was a good class and I had fun!

So i have to say that your class was amazing. i wasn't there for long but you made it really fun. i looked forward to go to class. that might be a little nerdy but it was fun. i enjoyed doing the service project for the family support center. and the facts at the beginning of the class was fun. so ya.
In the almost 1.5 years I have had your class, it has always been fun and easy. Even though you make it easy, I learn and remember way more than in other history classes I have had. I definitely learn better when things are explained in an easy way, rather than having to read a whole bunch of stuff and complete huge packets and such. I also liked your sense of humor. It makes the class way more enjoyable.
I really enjoyed your class! Although it was pretty easy, I learned a ton! You can ask my parents! I go home everyday and tell them what I learned from your class! I would have to say that I learned the most from the class discussions we had. I learned a lot and had a way fun time!! Thanks!!! I'm going to miss your class!

You were a wonderful teacher. I enjoyed the atmosphere of your classroom, and the discussions we had. You were very easy to talk to and I appreciate that, I believe that is why I enjoyed your class so much -and not because I slept all the time- it is always nice to listen to a teacher you know you can trust.I loved all of the strange facts of the day and I would say continue with those because those facts are what kept me tuned in to the lesson. I really liked the simple worksheets because I learned from them more. Schaber continue what you are doing because it is amazing!!!

I really enjoyed your class this year. Usually i don't like learning about history or government but you made it interesting and easy to understand. I liked how you would teach us about things that we were interested in and that would directly affect us in the future. Your random facts were great because they caught most people's attention. I thought your class was great. I have to say I agree with you when you said you went easy on us, but I still learned all the course was supposed to teach me I think. Pretty much the last 3 semesters that i have had your class have been AMAZING!!! i think you are a great teacher. I think the thing I loved the most was the discussions we had. Every day we came to class we got to have a new discussion about a different topic. There is always something for us to discus or debate about everyone gets their change to say how they feel if they choose to. I feel like there is something for everyone to learn from your class. We have talked about things from government to wild monster stories and everyday life to total craziness :) I loved your class, just keep up the amazing work.

Honestly?
You shouldn't change one thing about your class. Your probably thinking that we're all just saying that so that way you dont give us a bad grade or something but its the truth. You make learning about our government and its history fun. I really learned a lot. Keep up the good work. The random facts of the day are well random but we all look forward to that, so keep that around.

I really enjoyed the way you taught the class and got involved with it. It seems to work better when the teacher takes time to talk students. I like it better that way. I didn't have any issues with the class as well. I looked forward on coming to my favorite A day class everyday. Good luck with the little baby. Hah!

To be honest i really injoyed your class. between you and all the other history teachers i have had you have so far been the best over all, i have learned more in this class then any other history class. i must say you are good when it comes to getting a classes attention. i noticed you don't have problems with any of your students and you build great teacher student relationships. I know you say you are going to do every class different and that could be a good change bue i must say you tought really great for this semester. so keep up the good teachin.

your class was very fun. You made me interested in learning about things i usually wouldn't have cared about. From the first day you established a geed learning environment. plus the facts of the day are awesome. it helped me get going in your class unlike some teachers who have a class starting question or whatever for the students. the facts grabbed my attention and the way you spoke and the energy you had held it. plus the classroom was a little bit more laid back which made the subject "government" a little easier to handle, because sometimes students don't like classes because of the subject but no matter what you taught i would be involved and learning better than most teachers.

I think you are the best teacher ever Schab! Before your class I never really followed gov., so now thanks to you I won't get deported!!! Yes!!! When you talk I actually listen. I'm very interested in what you have to say. No other teacher has been able to do that. Plus I haven't fallen asleep once the entire semester. I've have learned so much from you in such a short amount of time. Anyways in conclusion I don't think you have to change the way you teach at all. Your doing great Schab, keep it up!!! I liked your class so much I changed my schedule and transferred into your class this year. It has not been a disappoinment. We might not have done very much homework, but I still learned so much. I especially liked the discussions we had about politics because it made me sound smart when I talked to people at work and other places. I liked the amendment test because I've never really known the amendments and this made me learn them. I loved your class, thanks for being so friendly and being there to talk to.
I enjoyed your class this year and learned a good amount of stuff. Im glad there were very few quizzes/tests and i think i learned just fine with all the work sheets. I was able to not focus on cramming for a test and just to just learn, which is definately better. You definately have a good teaching attitude.

Well id have to say this class was amazing!! I learned so much from it even though it was easy. But i never really realized how cool of a teacher you were until i actually had you as my teacher! your amazing and thank you so much for everything! your sense of humor and how you care about each student is what made it that much better of a class. I don't think you should change a thing; your class was one of my only classes i looked forward coming to. I liked that we did most of our work as a class and that you didn't just give us a book and tell us to do the work after the chapter. And I loved your stories they made me laugh, you were one of the best teachers I have ever had.

This class was fun. I didn't really understand how everything in government worked until after this class, and you actually made it interesting to learn about. I really liked both the facts of the day and how you went over the worksheets with us. It made it a lot easier to learn with you helping us rather than just skimming the text book and writing down answers.

I really think that you are a great teacher. One of my favorites! I was really excited to see that I was in your class again this year because I enjoyed it so much last year. Without giving tons of boring class work and homework you helped me to enjoy the class instead of dreading it, so it made it easier to learn. I really liked your class. Your a great teacher. I think having class discussions helped everyone because it got us all involved, getting others points of view so we hear multiple sides of the issue and get to make our own oppinion based upon that. One thing i think that could help is if you did more quizzes or something to make sure we keep it in our long term memory not just that we remember cause you just taught it. Thank you for all you do. I really learned a lot, even if it doesn't seem like it cause i was sleeping most of the time. I like how you teach us but also bring in humor to the class, how you try to be a friend, not just a teacher. You seem to care about each person as an individual and i think thats cool. I loved your class. US government is a boring subject, but you made it not boring at all and that's saying a lot. And being a senior and actually going to school each day is hard enough!! so it's nice to have a class that i can look forward to.

I really enjoy history and I really enjoyed your class. Most teachers put me to sleep when they talk. But every A day I look forward to our class because I really like the discussions we have and all the stories. I as well as probably everyone that's ever had you think you are the best teacher I've had. I wish this class was a year long class instead of english. I had a lot of fun. Thanks. I did learn a lot in your class. I learned much more during the in class discussions rather than the usual busy book work. It was an easy class, but we learned the entire book! You brought up ideas that made us think, and gave us the space to express our own ideas. I actually remember things that will help me in my future.:) It was a very fun class, and i'm going to miss it.

So Schaber.. i think you should have an easier spelling last name! Anyways i loved your class so much! Hey! Ok I loved your class. Even if I did sit in the back corner and mind my own business most of the time, I learned a ton. One of my favorite aspects of your class doesn't really have anything to do with the curriculum. I like that you treated us as adults. I have some teachers that I swear think I'm five or something. So it was a nice change to be treated my age for once. My next comment still doesn't have to do with the curriculum and I hope that's ok with you. As you know this hasn't been the best year for me and I really appreciate how much you were willing to help. Wether it was being flexible with my grades when everything first happened or even just checking up to make sure I'm still doing ok. Thanks. It means a lot. Ok now to the "government" part of your class. You were pretty easy on us, but that's ok. I've still learned so much. I know you're looking for suggestions to make your class better here, which is pretty hard to do. So the only one I have is maybe just spend a little more time on the subjects? I enjoyed your class all year; I like learning about history through discussion. Reading about it is kinda average and just drags on. with your discussions I get to learn little facts the book doesn't talk about. Keep the discussions and stories up...you need to tell more stories.

Schaber, Schaber, Schaber... Do you even have any idea how much I've enjoyed being your student for the past year and a half? Well let me tell you that it is a lot! I really enjoy the teaching methods that you utilize during each class period and the way that you hold attention every class period. Many teachers lecture the entire time with no discussion in between and no room for students personal opinions. By allowing us students participate within the lessons we are included in our learning proccess and I personally think that it makes learning the material easier. I dont think you could do anything better then you already do. You are a teacher that everyone knows the can come to for help with anything ranging from world war I timeline to boyfriend problems. You personallity is a blessing for students and your understanding and flexibility are appreciated greatly.
I will keep in touch cause Im graduating early and you are one of the few teachers I can see impacted my experience in high school! Thanks for everything you've done!
Your class was amazing. I never really liked history much but your class was really interesting. I really feel like I learned a lot. The discussions, stories and random facts of the day were great. I took AP U.S. History last year but since we had to do a lot of reading from the text book I got a little discouraged. Your class made me understand concepts that I didn't really understand while reading the text book. You are just an amazing teacher and you know how to get your student's attention.

I really enjoyed this class. I thought it was going to be a drag but then with the random facts and all of the fashion lessons I realized that it would be fun. I learned a lot, especially near the election. It was great that we were able to have many different opinions in our class. Thank you so much for making history great. I truly learned a lot. I love your class. I'm pretty sad that it's over! I especially love your way of teaching. You teach in a way that everybody understands. You give different types of examples whether they be a story or a worksheet or visuals. I have learned a bunch in your class. When I went to DC I appreciated it a whole lot more because I knew the history behind a lot of the stuff out there. I had already learned about the different monuments and the history behind many of those. It made the trip that much better! I really like that you are laid back. Not only because it wasn't a class I needed to stress over but it makes it a lot easier to approach you with anything. I feel like you have been a FANTASTIC teacher as well as a great friend. I was so happy to have your class during the election because you made everything seem a little less complicated. The discussions we had were great! That's when I learned the most because we could all just ask what we wanted to know and share our opinions without worrying about getting a bad grade. I especially liked the discussions about the controversial things that are happening around us today because we learned how they affected us. We didn't have too much homework or many quizzes so it wasn't a stressful class, which was a huge relief. Even though you didn't have too many assignments, I liked the paper we wrote at the beginning of the semester about a controversial issue of our choice. I wouldn't have minded doing another one on a different subject so that's my only suggestion. I can't believe I just practically asked for more homework...I loved the facts of the day and your stories. They were awesome! Overall, I thought your class was really helpful and fun at the same time. Thanks for a great semester Schaber!! You're a fantastic teacher and i hope your personality never changes!
